Lighting Up The Gaslamp Quarter

Starting November 7th, 2010, downtown San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter will transform into a winter wonderland of lights and holiday spirit. For the 3rd year in a row, The Christmas Light Company Inc. of San Diego been selected to decorate downtown and kick off San Diego’s Holiday season with a flip of the switch.

James Sciandra, President of The Christmas Light Company San Diego says, ‘’We are proud to work with the Gaslamp Quarter once again for 2010. It’s always amazing to be part of the holiday transformation for downtown. For 2010, we have selected ultra efficient LED lighting that is brighter and uses only 5% of the energy of traditional holiday lights.”

The Gaslamp Quarter will be transforming itself through November 6th, 2010. The Christmas Light Company San Diego and the Gaslamp Quarter association invite all San Diegans and visitors alike to come join in the official lighting on November 7th, 2010. The lights will be on display through January 3rd, 2011 and will feature over 100 trees lit on 4th, 5th and 6th Avenues between Broadway and L St.
